If you’re looking for modern contemporary Christian music that honors God and still speaks to your soul, look no further than Larry Don Dunn. His lyrics speak to the everyday aspects of life but address them in an uplifting way. You can relate to all of his songs starting from the power ballad, “Sing To The King”, where the soothing lyrical content of that track makes you realize that God is faithful even though external evidence may dictate otherwise.
And on his single “My Heart Is Set On You”, Larry Don Dunn confirms that the word of God is real in a world of falsehood, outrageous cults and spiritual wickedness, as he, like other believers in Christ hold fast to the one they feel has liberated them from the yoke of bondage and run the race that is set before them looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of their faith.
If you’re on the same wavelength, then you will enjoy Larry Don Dunn’s work in its totality. If on the other hand you have some doubts about religion, or even Christianity, do not fear as you may still bathe your ears in Larry’s rock and power-pop musical arrangements. Apart from being a dedicated Christian, Larry is a truly gifted singer and musician. “My Heart Is Set On You” will capture your heart and inspire you.
It will remind you of the infinite hope and love we all have when we put our faith and trust in someone to guide us – whoever that someone may be, in Larry’s case, his intentions are clear – it’s the Lord. Larry Don Dunn’s wonderful, wide-ranging voice and moving words will make your own heart sing with happiness and joy.
Larry Don Dunn is not just a mere mirage of another musical artist wandering aimlessly in the sonic desert dearth of identity. Rather, Larry is an oasis, secured with his own distinctiveness. On “My Heart Is Set On You”, he has honed in his own sound. Utilizing a myriad of elements from rock and pop, the old and the new, to make his music very much the product of the Millennium. Sparkling guitar solos, layered harmonies and soaring melodies is Larry Don Dunn’s way of breathing and reflecting his spiritual maturity.
